February 12th Meeting ~ Synology with Jeff Dugan

Our February meeting will be an online meeting – Wednesday, February 12th.

Rusty Lee, (CallMyPCDr.com) sought out a great presentation and presenter for our February 12th meeting!!! (Kudos to Rusty!!!)

This meeting will be an “Online” meeting, and will begin on-time at 11:30am and will last 90 minutes – concluding by 1:00pm. 

So grab your lunch a little early and join the session early to be ready to go.

Our Technology Wizards Great Idea / Tech Talk will be presented by Matt (Homer) Wilson. 

This is a new 5-15 minute segment that features one of our members sharing a business, marketing or technical tip that they have found to be very helpful or valuable in their business.  Matt has volunteered to be our presenter for February, and will be following up his DNS presentation by speaking about DOH. DOH is “DNS Over HTTP” – IT Providers need to be aware of this!!!

Many of us use Synology products, yet there have been a number of changes and several of our Members submitted questions to Rusty that were forwarded to Jeff. After reviewing the questions, and conversations Jeff had with Rusty and I, Jeff will cover three main topics:

1.          Choosing the right tool for the job – Unleash the full capability of Synology DSM

2.         Synology in 2020 – Recently released products and a sneak-peak at what’s to come in DSM 7.0

3.         Synology Partner Program – How to maximize the resources available to you

Jeff is a Technical Account Manager at Synology. His primary role is to educate channel partners on the Synology product line from both a technical and sales perspective helping clients master the best practices for growing their business by utilizing the Synology platform.
