February 11th Meeting ~ Matt Katzer – Azure for Technology Wizards

Our next Technology Wizards meeting will be tomorrow – Wednesday, February 11th, 12:00pm – 3:00pm at the Microsoft PacWest office located at 1414 Northrup (in the Pearl district).

Our February meeting will feature our own Matt Katzer (KAMIND IT) conducting a presentation on Azure –  Technology Wizards style.

Matt created the business in 1998 to supply solutions using Microsoft and Intel Technologies for small- and medium-size business.   He is the author of “Office 365: Managing and Migrating Your Business in the Cloud” and is currently the President of the local chapter of IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners).

Prior to creating KAMIND, Matt worked for Intel Corporation for 17 years managing Engineering development and IT projects.  After leaving Intel, Matt pursued the development of technology-related inventions and holds 19 domestic and international patents in related areas.  Matt’s focus with cloud solutions started in 2009, as he was looking at ways that businesses could improve productivity and reduce operating costs.  Matt holds a BSEE from the University of Michigan and an Executive MBA from the University of Oregon.

Lunch will be provided for the first few minutes of the meeting, so get there early!

PARKING: Please park in the lot between NW 15th & NW 16th, NW Kearney and NW Lovejoy with the entrance on Kearney Street.  There is a fee to park.  Also, if there is an attendant there, tell him/her you are a Microsoft meeting attendee.  The lot is located underneath I-405.  Plan to arrive early to find parking.

Reminder: Technology Wizards meetings are intended for current Technology Wizards members or potential members.  Potential members must be owners or employees of a an IT services business whose main purpose is to support small business using Microsoft products and services in some capacity.
