Our first Technology Wizards meeting of 2017 will be Wednesday, February 8th, 12:00pm – 3:00pm at the Microsoft PacWest office located at 1414 Northrup (in the Pearl district).
Datto
Eric Torres and William Speirs will be on hand to share with us How The Most Successful MSPs Are Positioning Continuity And Winning Business.
Stop selling backup based on natural disasters, and start positioning Business Continuity as a Total Data Protection Platform against downtime. The disaster itself is irrelevant, whether it’s a fire, flood, power outage, or human error. What’s important is that every minute a business is down, they’re losing money. The average SMB will suffer from 17.82 hours of downtime per year. Innovative technology at the enterprise level is brought to the SMB market with concepts and proprietary technology providing the most reliable solutions to ending your customers’ downtime.

Technology Wizards Board Elections
We will be following Datto’s presentation at our meeting on Wednesday with our annual Board Elections (which were postponed from December and then January due to the cancelation of our December and January Members Meeting due to inclement weather.) We will be electing the 5 members who will serve on the Board for the remainder of 2017. Only current members present in the room will be allowed to participate in the elections.
According to our Bylaws, annually the membership selects the 5 people who will serve on the Board from Jan – Dec. At the January Board Meeting (which will follow our Members Meeting), the 5 people elected then hold an election (Wednesday, after our regular meeting) to determine what positions within the Board they will each fill for the year. Our Bylaws further stipulate that the President must have served on the Board the previous year.
NOTE: Lunch will be provided by Datto (for those who show up early enough to get one) – Please be sure to thank them.
Looking forward to your active participation in our meeting!
