Happy New Year!
Our first Technology Wizards meeting of 2015 will be Wednesday, January 14th, 12:00pm – 3:00pm at the Microsoft PacWest office located at 1414 Northrup (in the Pearl district). Have you been wanting a “real” replacement for SBS for your clients that includes an “on-premise” infrastructure, rather than just sticking your head in the “clouds”? If so, don’t miss this meeting!!!
Zynstra Hybrid IT Solutions
Our January meeting will feature our own George Hefter (TCT Computer Solutions) and Andrew Morlidge (Zynstra) presenting an overview of the Zynstra Hybrid IT solutions and why they are good options as replacements for the SBS line of products and practical solutions for SMBs that want to make effective use of the cloud but still maintain an on-premises infrastructure for security and/or performance reasons. It’s an extremely well thought out solution that also overcomes the reluctance of SMB’s to upgrade their infrastructure when they should because of the capital expense involved.
George Hefter, President of TCT Computer Solutions
George founded TCT Computer Solutions in 1992 and it has grown to become a 12 person full-service IT solution and managed service provider with local, national, and international customers representing businesses of all sizes, types, and industries. TCT Computer Solutions was named in 2013 and 2014 to Ingram Micro’s SMB 500, the top 500 of over 20,000 Ingram Micro SMB resellers.
George is a charter member of the Zynstra Advisory Panel, a group of US and Canadian MSP’s and service companies formed by Karl Palachuk to advise Zynstra on conditions and concerns important to the introduction of the Zynstra Hybrid IT Solution products in North America. His company is also the first Zynstra reseller to put one of the Zynstra Hydrid IT solutions into service in North America.
Andrew Morlidge, VP Business Development – Americas for Zynstra
Zynstra delivers enterprise class hybrid IT for small and medium sized business. Zynstra is currently expanding into North America with a partner-led offering that drives more profitable and longer-term customer relationships than what’s possible through traditional transactional sales.
Andrew joined Zynstra about 2 months ago after nearly 14 years with Microsoft and prior to that, nearly 10 years with IBM. He has recruited and run global Channel and Direct Sales teams selling into the Enterprise and SMB spaces. Andrew has in-depth experience with senior executive engagement at the CxO level, and business development and strategic account management expertise with global customers and alliances. He has gained global experience through having lived and worked in the US, Europe, and the Middle East selling software and services
Lunch will be provided for the first few minutes of the meeting, so get there early!
