June 12th Meeting ~ Shaping Our Future

Our June Technology Wizards meeting will be this Wednesday, June 12th, 12:00pm – 3:00pm at the Microsoft PacWest office located at 1414 Northrup (in the Pearl district).

This month is the last month you will be able to purchase SBS through normal distribution channels. It will still be available through OEMs through the end of 2013.

It has been nearly a year since the announcements came out regarding the end of SBS and the SBSC.  How has your business changed?  What changes are you planning to make?  Technology Wizards (as an organization) needs to make changes as well.

SBS is and has been the focus of Technology Wizards, and it has been a requirement for membership (in some capacity).  What does the future look like for Technology Wizards?  The Board of Technology Wizards has been wrestling with this for many months and we need your input.  This month’s meeting will be focused on shaping what Technology Wizards will look like in the future. (The very near future.)  Please come and contribute to the future of your organization.  Your input is not only valuable, it’s critical.

Lunch will be provided, courtesy of Technology Wizards for the first few minutes of the meeting, so get there early!

PARKING: Please park in the lot between NW 15th & NW 16th, NW Kearney and NW Lovejoy with the entrance on Kearney Street.  There is a fee to park this time as the presenter is not from Microsoft.  Also, if there is an attendant there, tell him/her you are a Microsoft meeting attendee.  The lot is located underneath I-405.  Plan to arrive early to find parking.

Looking forward to your attendance and participation.

Reminder: Technology Wizards meetings are intended for current Technology Wizards members or potential members.  Potential members must be owners or employees of a business whose main purpose is to provide technology products and/or services to other businesses, and sell or support Microsoft Windows Small Business Server in some capacity.
