March 11th Meeting ~ Who Needs Bng/Ggl When You Have Technology Wizards?

Our next Technology Wizards meeting will be Wednesday, March 11th, 12:00pm – 3:00pm at the Microsoft PacWest office located at 1414 Northrup (in the Pearl district).

Who Needs Bng/Ggl When You Have Technology Wizards?

Who needs search engines when you have Technology Wizards?  At our March meeting, we will have the opportunity to help each other with several topics. Each of us has experienced some sort of anomaly or quirk over the past 6 months (likely, even the past month or week) that we have had to work through to resolve. Many times, these issues are not always “documented”, so here is your chance to share your “pain” and the “healing salve” with other Technology Wizards to help your fellow members “in advance.”  Please come with an experience or two (or three) to share.

We’ll also put our heads together to around the topic of “Malware Mitigation” – in light of the resurgence of “Crypto” style threats and other issues that have surfaced recently.

Many of us also spend a great deal of time “working IN the business” and not enough time “working ON the business”.  So we’ll begin to examine some Business Best Practices to get us moving in the direction of “working ON the business.”  Please come planning to share at least one good Business (not Technical) Practice, or have a question or two on the topic of Business Best Practices for other members to help answer.

Lunch will be provided for the first few minutes of the meeting, so get there early!

PARKING: Please park in the lot between NW 15th & NW 16th, NW Kearney and NW Lovejoy with the entrance on Kearney Street.  There is a fee to park.  Also, if there is an attendant there, tell him/her you are a Microsoft meeting attendee.  The lot is located underneath I-405.  Plan to arrive early to find parking.

I’m really looking forward to seeing you all and to your active participation in these discussions!
