November 9th Meeting ~ Sinefa: Network Traffic Visibility & Control

Our next Technology Wizards meeting will be tomorrowWednesday, November 9th, 12:00pm – 3:00pm at the Microsoft PacWest office located at 1414 Northrup (in the Pearl district).

Sinefa – Amy Luby, VP Sales – US; Also an Engineer (possibly even one of the founders) will be joining us as well

Broadband is supposed to deliver new efficiencies, but poorly functioning networks reduce the expected gains. Sinefa found that a common factor is that most network performance issues arise from the way in which the network is being used rather than the technology itself. It’s generally a matter of utilization rather than capacity or network access itself. In other words, network traffic is the problem, not networks.

Sinefa’s accumulated experience, gained from working with MSPs throughout the world, clearly shows them that many networks are performing badly, which has a seriously detrimental impact on productivity.

Sinefa gives you complete visibility of network traffic, identified by application type. You can see, in real-time and historically which applications are consuming the most bandwidth, allowing you to make objective, fact-based decisions and apply real-time traffic shaping to control your network.

This should be an invigorating, fascinating and helpful presentation you will not want to miss!
