September 11th Meeting ~ 10th Anniversary Celebration

Technology Wizards and Friends,

Today (September 9th) marks the 10th anniversary of Technology Wizards and we plan to celebrate this incredible achievement at our meeting this Wednesday, September 11th, 12:00pm – 3:00pm at the Microsoft PacWest office located at 1414 Northrup (in the Pearl district).

To celebrate we are throwing a party and have invited several people who have been a part of our history over the last 10 years to celebrate with us.

Parties should include some food – and ours does as well (but it will not be pizza this time), and of course a cake.

Our distinguished guests include:

  • Karl Palachuk, Small Biz Thoughts, SMB Books, Great Little Book, etc.,
  • Steve Banks, Banks Consulting Northwest, Puget Sound SBS Group, Windows Server for Small and Medium Business MVP
  • Chris Avis, Technical Evangelist, Microsoft
  • Jim Kamikawa – Full Time Dad, Former Sponsor of Technology Wizards within Microsoft

We’ll also hear from a surprise guest during the meeting.

These fantastic and amazing people have been a great part of our group’s longevity and have supported us in various ways over the last 10 years, and we are very honored to have them come celebrate with us.

During the meeting we’ll have some great fun looking back over the last 10 years and look at what might lie ahead.

Come prepared to have a great time, participate, enjoy some food, laughs and great stories, and learn some things.

Lunch will be provided for the first few minutes of the meeting, so get there early!

PARKING: Please park in the lot between NW 15th & NW 16th, NW Kearney and NW Lovejoy with the entrance on Kearney Street.  There is a fee to park this time as the presenter is not from Microsoft.  Also, if there is an attendant there, tell him/her you are a Microsoft meeting attendee.  The lot is located underneath I-405.  Plan to arrive early to find parking.

Looking forward to your attendance and participation.
